I just got back from a Memorial Day weekend road trip to Memphis, Tennessee. Of course, we toured Graceland, which was really fun. We also spent an entire day at the fabulous Memphis Zoo, one of just four zoos in the U.S. with Giant Panda bears. But my favorite part may have been the detour through Paducah, Kentucky and one of the country’s biggest fabric stores. I got tons of really cute new fabrics, you can see them here.

Little Market Totes

I found these little Market Totes and thought they were so cute.   They're a little less than half the size of a regular market one.  I think these would make really cute personalize gifts, or maybe even a mommy and me set with a regular size.  What do you think?  If people are interested then I'll try to carry these as a regular or "Neat Stuff" item.

Building a Kid Space

OK, so this started out as a little project.  We just wanted to build a small play loft for the kids by enclosing some wasted space in the attic. Of course, it has gotten way out of control.  Check out the progress here.

In case you haven't heard, I'm in the process of updating the Stitches So Sweet website.  I've got a lot of great stuff planned, like new graphics and designs, and maybe even a shopping cart!  Look for it later this summer.  In the mean time, check out my market totes.  I can embroider or personalize them or you can just take them as they are.  These make great gifts (have you gotten something for the teachers in your life yet) or just to keep in the car.
